How to play the Caterpillar Hustle game?
If you only have enough players for one team, then you can time them or simply have the team complete the activity. If you have enough players for 2 teams of 4, then they can race or compete against their own best times. Divide the teams into groups of 4-6, whatever number works best for your group.
Have them sit in a single file line with each child’s legs wide apart. each child sits in between the child’s legs behind him or her. They hold onto the waist of the person in front of them. When you give the signal, they all scoot their team to the finish line. The line should not be broken. If you have a younger group, and they break the line, they have to go back a few feet. The older the group, the more space they have to go back if they break the line. For 8 and older, they have to start over.
