Duck Duck Goose game also known as Duck Duck Gray Duck is a party game to energise children of all ages. Keep children busy and active with this chasing game, that is played outside.

Duck Duck Goose game rules
1- Children form a circle and sit down facing each other… One child is chosen to be “It”. He should walk around the circle formed by the children gently tapping on the head or shoulder on each player and saying “Duck” each time… But at one point, “It” will decide to tap on the head of one of his comrades saying “Goose”.
2- Then the player selected as “Goose” stands up and runs after “It” who must go around the circle and take the place vacated by the child. If he succeeds, then the 2 players switch roles and the “Goose” becomes “It”. The game continues as per the previous steps.
But if the “It” is tagged by the “Goose”, he has to sit in the centre of the circle.
3- The person in the middle can’t leave until another person is tagged to replace him.
Duck Duck Goose is a popular active game suitable for groups of young children in school, kindergarten, preschool adapted for all ages.
Variations :
Instead of running, try a version where the players have to skip, hop or crawl around the circle. Or change the words to fit a favourite theme such as pirates, fairies or unicorns!
