How to play Water Bucket Relay?
Kids love relay races, and at the beach, the old-fashioned egg-and-spoon race can be replaced with a water bucket relay. Give each child a plastic bucket and a spoon or other small container.
Place the buckets in a line on the sand and have the children run to the water, fill their container, and then return to empty it into the bucket. The first one to fill their bucket wins the race. You can also set up this game as a team game by having the kids play in pairs. They can take turns filling the bucket or they can do it at the same time. The choice is yours!
Children love the challenge of trying to keep the water from spilling before putting it in their bucket.
