How to play “Birdie, Birdie, Where’s your nest?”

Have the children sit in a circle, with one child in the middle as a bird. The bird closes his eyes and you give the small object to one of the children. All the children sit with their hands behind their backs. Then, the children say: ” Birdie, Birdie, where’s your nest?”. After that, the bird opens his eyes and gets three guesses for who has it. If the bird guesses correctly, the child holding the “nest” becomes the bird. If the bird guesses incorrectly, that child remains the bird.

You can have rules like each child only gets to the bird 2 times or even if the bird guesses wrong, the child holding the nest becomes the new bird.
