Blind Man’s Buff.

Blind Man’s Buff is an entertaining game where kids will learn to use their senses other than sight, by trying to catch the other players while blindfolded. This fun game is simple to set up and can be played both indoors and outdoors. One player, blindfolded, must catch another player and identify him or her, so that the other player can take his or her place.

Blind Man’s Buff game rules

Choose a player to be the “It” who will be blindfolded.
The other players will have to stand in a circle all around him and must not move their feet off the ground.
The child, blindfolded, placed in the center of the circle must turn 3 times on himself before trying to catch one of his friends.
Children are not allowed to move from their place but are allowed to make movements and contort themselves to avoid being touched.
When the blindfolded child manages to catch a player, he must then try to guess who it is. He has 3 tries to find out the name of his buddy. If he succeeds then the child who has been discovered replaces him.
If he doesn’t succeed at the end of his 3 tries, he must try again with another player.
Set up an age-appropriate playing surface for the children.

For the older players

Older children can use a larger playground. The blindfolded child should count to 20. The other children will then have to hide. When the blinded child calls his friends, they will have to make noises to help him find his way around. The Blindman calls out “Blindman’s!” and the rest of the players have to answer “Bluff!” to help the “It’ to know where thay are hidden. But they will not be allowed to move from their hiding place.
