How to play Freeze Dance?
Pick some fun music. The rule is that everyone must stop dancing when the music is turned off, no matter what position they are in. Watch the children for any movement. If a player moves or falls out of position, he is out.
Design a playlist that includes the most popular kids’ songs. If you have some energetic children, this is a good way to wear them down. Freeze dance can also be played using chairs scattered around the room (one fewer than the number of participants), as a fun tweak to musical chairs.
When the music stops, everyone scrambles for a seat and the person left without one is eliminated. Before each round you will take a chair away until there is only one left, and whoever gets that last seat when the music stops is the winner.
