Scavenger hunt game

The Scavenger Hunt Game is a lifesaver for a busy parent because you can make this activity as simple or as complicated as you want. Here’s how to play: Put the kids in groups and make sure each group has a camera. But you can do this game only using a sheet of paper and a pencil too. So children will only have to tick the box corresponding to the item they found. It’s up to you. They have to go around the area where the party is being held, finding various objects and photographing them. A simple example would be, “Something purple” and a more complicated one would be, “A leaf that has fallen from a tree and died.” Then, when they find each item on their list and take a picture of it, they head back to the moderator – the first group to make it back with all items completed is the winner. Note: As an alternative, you can speed up the game by giving the kids a time limit and see how many things they are able to complete within the time frame. Include a rule for what happens if the group is missing a picture, or has gotten one incorrect – simply deducting a point or two usually works well.
