Hands up Game rules
The people on one side of the table are a team and the people on the other side of the table are a team. Each team has a leader. The leader on the first team gets the cotton ball and everyone on his team has their hands under the table. The leader passes the cotton ball to the next person and it keeps being swapped trying to throw off the other team.
The leader of the other team says, “Hands up” at any time, and the team with the cotton ball puts their hands up with their fist closed. Then the leader calls out, “Hands down”. They all put their hands down on the table in fists then flatted their hands palms down. Older children can just put their hands down quickly. The cotton ball works well because it doesn’t make any noise. Then the leader gets two guesses as to who has the cotton ball. Of course, the team can talk about it, but the leader has to say to one person, “Palms up”. If he guesses correctly about who has the cotton ball, then that team gets a point and gains control of the cotton ball. If he guesses incorrectly, then the first team keeps the cotton ball and receive a point. After one team has had the cotton ball three times in a row, the other team gets a turn.
