Halloween Pictionary

Start off the spooky season with Halloween Pictionary. A frightening spin on the classic drawing game. In this Halloween pictionary game, players will try to quickly draw Halloween characters and objects to make their team guess as many as possible in a given time. We can adapt the game for many age groups. It’s simple, draw a picture of the word and have your teammates guess it. Add a dose of holiday fun to your spooky gatherings with all our Halloween games.

Halloween Pictionary Game rules

You need enough people to form 2 teams, so at least 4 players. Each team takes turns sending one player to the head of the room, where he or she picks one of the fun Halloween words from a bowl.

He or she then draws that word while the rest of their team tries to guess what it is. Make sure the person drawing does not say a word! You are not allowed to talk or use hand signals to try to help your team guess the word. Participants can start guessing as soon as the person drawing begins.

Just about everyone has played pictionary. The beauty of this game is that you don’t have to be able to draw. A stick figure will do. In this version, simply make up your own words rather than using the cards that come with the game. Since this is a Halloween party, make sure to use words that fit in with the spirit of things.
